Osteoporosis
More than 25,000 hip fractures result from osteoporosis each year. Fifty percent of women over the age of 45 are affected by osteoporosis. Ninety percent of women over the age of 75 are affected by osteoporosis. Developed in cooperation with registered dietitians, physical therapists, and physicians, our Fitness Specialists will specifically design a safe exercise program for you whether you are interested in preventing the disease or increasing your T-score.

Diabetes
In the United States, more than 10 million people have Type II diabetes and as many as 1 million others are thought to have Type I diabetes. A combination of regular aerobic and weight resistant exercise, good nutrition, and a few simple lifestyle changes can significantly reduce your risk of developing diabetes or help in maintaining the disease.

Total Joint / Post Therapy
Our Total Joint Program is ideal for those who have had hip or knee joint replacement. With the guidance and expertise of our on-site physical therapy department, your Fitness Specialist will design a program specific for your orthopedic needs.

Our Total Joint program helps you:

Arthritis Protection Program (OA, RA, Fibro)
Joint Disease
Our joint disease program helps you prepare for surgery or serves as a post rehabilitation program for those with arthritis or degenerative joint disease in the hip, knee, shoulder, or back. Our Fitness Specialists are trained to concentrate on improving muscular strength around the joint, increasing range of motion, improving stabilization, and reducing the risk of re-injury (without increasing pain).

Fibromyalgia
Approximately 5 million people are affected by fibromyalgia, with 80-90 percent of those diagnosed being women between the ages of 35 and 60. The One Nineteen Fibromyalgia program track is based on the comprehensive Fibromyalgia program developed and implemented by our physical therapists.

Bariatric Program

Pre-surgery weight loss and exercise are recommended for the medical procedure and for continuation after surgery. Oncology/Lymphedema Program (Post Re-hab)
This program is designed to continue your healing following treatment. Using the vast resources of this facility and the expertise of our professional staff, guidelines for safe exercise, self-care education, and disease management are provided in a nonintimidating, caring environment.
