Group Exercise Classes

Advanced Pilates - This class will be taking your pilates training to the next level. For those that need a little bit more out of their pilates workout. (45 minutes) Arthritis Aquatics - Meets the special needs of people with arthritis. Helps reduce the pain and stiffness and increase joint mobility. (45 minutes) Body Pump - A group barbell program that challenges every major muscle in your body. Ten stationary routines using weights and music help to strengthen and tone in record time. High repetition boosts your endurance and speeds up metabolism for rapid fat burning, enhancing confidence and well-being. Low on complexity but high on fun, the weight-bearing moves help increase bone density, a vital factor in reducing the risk or incidence of osteoporosis. (one hour) Butts and Gutts - A 15 minute workout that will target the problem areas that we all seem to complain about. The focus of this class will be from your belly button to your knees. Chair Yoga - This class will be very gentle using props such as chairs for balance as you go through the yoga poses. (45 minutes) Knock Out Workout - This class will involve kicks and punches. We will work on form and stabilizing the core to get the most out of our kicks and punches. Then put our kicks and punches together for some combinations. This class is for all ages and fitness levels. (45 minutes) In Too Deep - This class in held in the deep end of the pool and a variety of aquatic equipment is utilized including ankle and arm cuffs, hand buoys, wave belts, and webbed gloves. Individual classes vary in intensity from cardio and extensive stretching to abdominals and light strength. Class participants will need to be able to swim and feel comfortable treading in deep water. (30 minutes) Instructor’s Choice - This is a class for everyone and all fitness levels. It could be a circuit class, step, kickbox, kangoo, gliding…anything. You never know what will be going on, but I can guarantee you will have FUN! (45 minutes) Light Strength - This class is a strength class that uses weights, stability balls, the step, body bars and own body weight. It will help with balance and increase your flexibility to help with everyday life. (45 minutes) Mommy & Me - Offered for parents and their children age 6 months to 3 years. Introduce the parents and their child to routines that promote water safety and encourage happiness and confidence in the water. Registration required. (45 minutes) Pilates - As an introduction to Pilates, these classes will teach you the concepts of the traditional Pilates exercises. Through hands-on instruction, you will learn appropriate breathing, movement awareness, and control from the center in order to support the spine and pelvis to correct body alignment.. (45 minutes) Resist-A-Ball - A muscle works class that uses a stability ball to help with balance and coordination while also strength. You will also be using weights in this class. It is always different and a whole lot of fun. (45 minutes) Senior Stretch - This class uses a chair and sometimes light weights and stability balls. This class will help with balance and flexibility while working on strength. (45 minutes) SPINNING® - SPINNING® is a journey to health and fitness. Using a stationary bicycle, at your own pace, the certified SPINNING® instructor will guide you through a session that blends cycling technique, sound training principles and coaching to energize, challenge and inspire. SPINNING® classes are not competitive, monotonous or awkward. Every class is a venture to a new stronger place- both mentally and physically. Reservations required. (45-60 minutes) Spin Stretch - A 40 minute Spin ride straight into 20 minutes of stretching. A great combination of cardio and stretching the muscles. Registration required. Straight Up Strength – Intense muscle defining work using tubing, stability balls, hand weights, steps and your own body weight. Strength training and muscle conditioning. (45 minutes) Treadwalk - Group fitness on treadmills with upbeat music that will keep you motivated. At times you will travel uphill, run short intervals, and even do a little shadow boxing. Throughout the attitude is always supportive and very non-intimidating. Reservations required. (45 minutes) Ultimate Energy - Come join us for a 75-minute total body workout! If you have hit a plateau or are just battling boredom while you exercise, this is the class for you. Your heart rate will be elevated while you work your way through drills that will improve your strength, endurance, speed, agility, balance and flexibility. All fitness levels welcome. Water Aerobics - An invigorating workout in the pool for the swimmer and non-swimmer; it is a total-body, non-weight-bearing workout for everyone. This is an excellent way to begin an exercise program, or add to your existing one; using the water as resistance, you can determine your own level of intensity. (45 minutes) Yoga - You will learn how to control your breathing with the execution of various poses. Some of the many benefits of yoga are reduced stress, reduced anxiety, and improved flexibility. It also increases strength, Posture and balance. All levels welcome. (one hour)
